No, not really :-) I went to the Parade of Lights in the big city this past weekend and captured these "ghosts" using a slow shutter. Part of it is "luck" for me and getting the timing and motion to sync up. Hey- I'm still learning how this whole photography thing works :-)

The Ghosts of (my) Christmas past
No, not really :-) I went to the Parade of Lights in the big city this past weekend and captured these "ghosts" using a slow shutter. Part of it is "luck" for me and getting the timing and motion to sync up. Hey- I'm still learning how this whole photography thing works :-)

Try the rear curtain sync feature if your flash or camera has it. It's a cool trick to make motion look like it's going forward instead of backward with slow shutter speeds. Works awesome with billiard balls! :-P
