Last Hoo-rah on the West Branch

What a fun day we had together. My husband took off early with his brother and his wife and myself met up with them later that day. We greeted them with some lunch and Dunkin' Donuts. They were very happy to see us :-) After some laughter and food we suited up and hiked in ( about a 1/4 mile) to a favorite fishing spot and there met up with our friend "R-Factor". The weather was warm and the fish were biting!

A picture before we hike in......

Some fly-changing taking place and my brother in law caught one!

It was so fun just to watch these guys cast. What a beautiful, graceful sport that really does take some skill to master! My husband was very excited to fish so he could try out his NEW St. Croix rod and Ross reel. He loved the combo by the way :-)

Probably my favorite of the day- the sun came out that afternoon and you could see the water whip off the line as he casted. Beautiful! We also saw an Eagle come very close to us and a baby offsprey. It is truly one of the most beautiful places here on earth. We are blessed to have the friends and family we have. They are truly wonderful people :-)
Here's to next season!
