Ok, I will admit I was quite frustrated with my editing program and my lack of knowledge of "photo-shop". As hard as I tried, I just couldn't get the shots of this little guy to look the way I KNEW they could look. So, I emailed my friend Hannah Wilde with a desperate SOS. She responded with these little gems less than 24 hours later. All I can say is WOWOWOW!!! She truly knows her stuff! I was so blessed that she would take the time to help me out and show me a few tips in Photo-editing to boot! Happiest Day Of Her Life.......

My friend just got a new puppy. His name is Furb. Furb brought much happiness to my Monkey yesterday. See, he's hypo-allergenic so he doesn't make her sick. Now all she can talk about is "When can we see the puppy?" Oh boy......I may have created a monster.....

1st Day Back At The Playground

The snow is finally gone and the weather has finally warmed up. I have been super busy
( sorry for lack of posts) but have managed to escape to the great outdoors on the nice days. You know, before the bugs get here. To say the kids were thrilled to see their glorious playground again would be an understatement. This is when pictures really DO say 1000 words.

Snuggles With Mama

Oh how I miss the smell of a newborn, the warmth their little body brings snuggled up against my chest, and their little downy hair. They don't stay small like this for very long. And baby and Mommy seem very content in this picture, don't they?

Sneak Peak......

Today I drove over 45 minutes to take pictures of this little guy. And as excited as I was, *this* is how the photo shoot started....
After a diaper change and a nursing, he calmed down a bit. phew........
He sure does love his Mama. This may be one of my all time favorite pictures. Look at him stare at his mom. So precious.
And I love newborn dreaming and their smiles. I knew if I sat there long enough, he would give me "the sleeping grin". It only took him about 3 minutes. He's so cooperative, isn't he?
And this is how the photo shoot ended: all snuggled up in a warm fuzzy blanket and a sucker. I just love his hat.


I have much more to share later. This will have to do for now. I have no idea how Hannah @ www.hannahwildephotography.com does this ALL the time.

My Beautiful Sister In Law

Check out her bling in the lower left hand corner.
I needed a model for some picture to add to my portfolio and I didn't need to look any further than my sister in law.
She is so beautiful, inside and out. The most kind-hearted person I've ever met. I'm so blessed she became a "Susen" last August. And my kids just adore her!

Tinyman- Almost 4!!

Deer!

They came very quickly and the good news is I had my camera within reach. bad news: I didn't have my telephoto lens on my camera and bad news #2: I didn't kick up my Aperature enough so they're not quite in focus. :-( My husbands little brother spotted then and I literally had 15 seconds to get my shot. This was the best I could do. It was still really cool and I have never seen deer that close-up before!

It's the "Little" Things

Just some cute details from a Baby Shower I attended a few weeks ago. This little baby girl will be the best dressed kid ever! She got some incredible clothes and other gifts from her very generous family and friends who attended.
I loved how she hung the outfits on a clothesline as part of the party decor.
