Friends.....

Aren't they adorable? Doesn't it make you think back to your Senior year and your "best friend"? these two just totally rocked the camera together. I really am in love with ALL of these photos. I have posted color AND black and white because I like both......

I hope you enjoy them!

Miss Underwood... (Senior #2)

She did great once she loosened up :-) But she totally rocked these photos, didn't she?

Miss underwood: I really hope you like these, there is LOTS more to choose from. I'm looking forward to seeing you again to review them together. make sure to show Mom (and Dad!) I had a wonderful time today, thanks for coming down!

Wild Turkey!

On our way back from our field trip today we saw some wild turkeys. I'm thinking they were kind of depressed since they were hanging out in a graveyard.

I did not have my telephoto lens with me so these were the best I could do.. i wish I could have gotten closer but they didn't seem to like me very much and when I got too close they did this:

If you have heard that turkeys can't fly, here's proff to show you they really DO fly! they took right off and landed high above in the trees.
Here's one perching in a branch:

then it started to pour so I had to make a run for the van. bummer. I really wanted to get closer.

MPIX

This is a plug for a new online photo printing shop. You can get anything from prints, to making calendars, photo books, business cards, buttons or even ( my favorite) gallery wraps. Their quality is superior and although bit more cost wise than Snapfish, their printing quality is amazing. (Thanks to Debbie who told me about them!) My FAVORITE aspect of ordering from them is they have EXPERT Color technicians who will re-touch your photos including: density, color & contrast.
I recently had a bad experience with snapfish. I ordered a a bunch of prints ( a wedding) and at least 10% of them have MAJOR printing defects. That's just annoying to me. So for my PROFESSINAL pictures, or the ones I just really, really love, I'm ordering from MPIX.

Check them out: www.mpix.com

And don't whine about their prices, you'll save in quality, I promise. AND it's STILL cheaper than developing film.

SO... does anyone have a good online photo printing company they like? I'm in the market for my "every day" photos. And with kids, I have a plenty!

Have a great day.
