GoodByes Are Hard......
****WARNING!! This may make you cry. So grab some tissues or go to another blog if you don't want to get emotional. I wanted to share this part of my life, as hard as it was, because it's important to me... and because it's my blog and I can do what I want here! ****
This is my wonderful, bubbly, beautiful, fellow-homeschooling friend. Her husband lost his job when his Mill closed. They are moving to Washington ....state. Yes, across the country.... this Friday. To say I will miss her would be the understatement of the year. But I know that "There is a season for everything" and I know the Lord has BIG plans for them.
But I'm still sad.
She has such a kind, sweet husband who's been a great friend to mine.
And 2 VERY handsome, sensitive, articulate bright boys who have been fantastic friends to my kids.
And she has a little girl on the way... due in September......
Her boys love her so much. She is such a fantastic Mommy to them.
They came today to say goodbye.
It was very, very hard.
We tried so hard not to cry.
We failed.
We will miss them horribly.
I'm so thankful for Facebook, blogs, emails and telephones.
But they won't be right down the road anymore....
Or in church on Sundays.....
"B" is a wonderful Sunday school teacher with such a gift with children.
There will be a gigantic now hole in our Children's Ministry.
She has been there for me so many times. She is a friend who will cry with you and then tell you you have mascara running down your cheek.
Or if you have something green stuck in your teeth....
She brightens every room she enters and will surely bring a smile to your face.
And I know I'm not the only one who will miss her and her family......
I pray the Lord brings them back at some point in the future. I know He has plans for a future of good things and is leading them to green pastures. What an adventure awaits them!!
But I am still sad.
I will miss my friend.
I LOVE YOU "B"!!!!
Now where's the chocolate.........

He Swept Me Away.....
on a romantic overnight to the "big" city! Our Monkey took our picture before we left.
She has quite an eye!
We ate dinner at a place called "Thistles" and it was absolutely fantastic!
They had fresh bread with garlic oil for dipping....
And the BEST coffee we have ever had. They served it with sugar cubes- so fancy!
The table was set for two with silver and black accents.....
A little votive for "mood"
And a live Jazz Band! (That was our personal favorite)
I know I have problems when I take pictures of my appetizer.....
desset was... oh... words just can't describe~
That raspberry sauce was to-die-for!!
A view of the city from our room. This was just for fun. I didn't use a tripod- and I took it through our window.....
The red streak you see are actually tail lights from cars. Cool, huh?
We stayed at The Hilton. It was so beautiful. Here is just one of the lounges they had. Doesn't it look so cozy?
And my favorite- a BIG beautiful chandelier~
They served a beautiful breakfast. I didn't take my camera to breakfast, but I wish I had. You should have seen Einsteins plate! He loves breakfast.
We had to leave pretty early to get back home but it was so nice to get away with my husband. It was just what we needed in our very blessed, but busy life we have!

Me And MY Buddy
Even though it's not the most technically perfect picture
( he's not even really in focus) I LOVE it!! We were visiting my Grandmother at the nursing home so you'll have to excuse the wheelchair and bed in the backdrop. I have to work with what I'm given! Oh, and My Sassy Pants took this photo. She did a good job I think :-) Budding photographer??

My Friend......
is TWENTY weeks pregnant. Can you believe that? She is absolutely glowing!
I look this at 6 weeks pregnant... no kidding......
I just LOVE this picture!
Oh- and she also got her braces off today. This is the first time she has ever REALLY smiled for me. Isn't she just gorgeous? She has to move away soon and I will miss her terribly. But I'm so thankful I was able to capture a real smile before she left. :-) ( I love you B!!!)
